Contact Networks Introduces New Product to Keep Address Books Current
Contact Collector Helps Professional Service Firms Improve Relationship Marketing
Boston, Mass. - May 30, 2008
– Contact Networks, the global industry leader in Enterprise Relationship Management (ERM) software for professional services firms, introduced Contact Collector, a new solution to help busy professionals keep their address books current, to help maintain their relationships with clients and prospects. The software operates as a standalone application or integrates with ContactNet, the company’s ERM software that allows professional service firms to instantly search and identify their firms’ “Who Knows Who” relationship map. This network is used for prospecting, cross selling, competitive intelligence, or simply making an important introduction.
Contact Networks’ research has verified that up to 86% of executives’ contacts never make it into their address book. And this percentage is trending consistently upward, as employees have become increasingly reliant on Outlook’s and Note’s auto-complete function for email addresses. This analysis is based on data across 11 large global organizations from 2002 to 2008.
By making it easy to add to and update address books, Contact Collector helps professionals stay in touch with contacts whether they’re in the office, or on the road, using a Blackberry. And it greatly benefits firms using a CRM system that syncs with user address books (such as InterAction from Lexis Nexis, MS-CRM from Microsoft, Contact Manager from Hubbard One, ContactEase from Cole Valley) to keep their contacts up-to-date.
How it Works
Contact Collector compares the address book and email traffic patterns for each user. Important missing contacts are identified. With two clicks, users can add the contact to an address book, with the contact’s full details, often without manual data entry.
“Relationships make a difference in winning and keeping business, they are a critical knowledge asset,” said Tom Baldwin, Chief Knowledge Officer at Reed Smith, LLP, a Contact Networks client. “Contact Collector offers attorneys a quick and efficient way to keep their address books up-to-date, helping firms to capture and track their important relationships. That, in turn, helps the business grow.”
